Toyota aqua also known as Prius c would be the one of the best city car you can have. Launched in 2011 and still going on, this car is powered by a hybrid engine which runs on petrol and electricity. The car produces around 90 HP on petrol while on electricity it gives 79 HP combined it gives 114 HP, I do wonder how that adds up to 114 HP. The car comes in S variant, L variant, G variant.
These are common variants in the first generation and other variants were added on the next year like the GS variant and the X urban variant which was launched in the 2014 aqua. the shape also changes as over time as this car got 2 face lift and 1 crossover

Now, why is aqua called Prius c in some countries? That because Toyota introduced aqua as a small and cheap alternative to the Prius, which was launching its 3rd generation at the time.
If we look at the Prius and aqua side by side we could definitely see that aqua is smaller and is 1 star less compared to the Prius, well that's what you can expect from it. In the roads of Pakistan we can say it's a good family car as it gives a perfect fuel economy, small enough to fit in parking spaces and big enough to carry 2 big suitcases.
The car also has a wonderful A/C and heater, quiet, good handling, good brakes, good power, soft suspension and many more. If we look at feature it has push start, cruise control, ABS braking, LCD screen for maps, songs and radio, digital speedometer, climate control, retractable mirrors, headlight washers and more. The list really goes on and on.

Besides all of those, this car gives you a fuel average of 22+ km per liter in city, some say this car can easily score a 30+ KM/L average. In the highway it disappoints us with 16 km per liter; well that's what is expected from a hybrid as you are relying on the engine to cruise on the highway and not the battery. The battery is activated automatically when speed is below 60 km, and you are driving slowly. You don't need to worry about the battery charge, as it is charged when you use your brakes.
This car was the perfect value to money car as it was cheap and maintaining it was not a hassle, but you needed to take care of it properly then you can drive it like a corolla. Genuine parts are also available even though this car is imported, which is a good sign that you can find proper mechanics to trust them with fixing your car.
Due to inflation, this car currently is available on the market starting from 27 lac, which is pretty expensive considering the price it started from was 16 lac back in 2014. The car price varies from its condition, its variant and its battery health. From my perspective, I think 27 is very expensive for this car, but this car does deserve to be around 20-ish lac.
